About Michael

Who Is Michael Badeon?

I am an educator, academic leader, corporate trainer and facilitator, entrepreneur, and lifelong learner.

For more than 15 years, I have been involved in education, teaching in colleges, universities, and vocational education. My journey in academe has also brought me into academic leadership, including serving as a Faculty President overseeing programs in Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics, Pharmacy, and Medical Technology.

I am also part of the management committee of our family-run school, an institution that has been serving learners and families since 2004. Through this experience, I have come to appreciate that education is not simply about delivering lessons. It is about creating environments where people can learn, develop, discover their potential, and become better versions of themselves.

Beyond the classroom and school environment, I have spent more than 14 years in corporate training and facilitation. My work has allowed me to design and facilitate experiential team-building programs, leadership development activities, people development initiatives, and learning experiences for different organizations and teams.

These experiences have taught me that whether we are talking about a classroom, a school, a business, or a corporate team, one thing remains constant:

Everything ultimately comes back to people.

People need to be understood.
People need to be developed.
People need to be trusted.
And people need opportunities to learn and grow.

My experiences in entrepreneurship have given me another perspective. Building organizations and working with clients have taught me that success is not built on transactions alone. Relationships, character, competence, consistency, credibility, and trust matter just as much.

Travel has added another dimension to my journey. Every place I visit, every person I meet, and every experience I encounter becomes another opportunity to learn. Over time, I have come to see the world itself as another classroom.

All these experiences have shaped the way I think, lead, work, and live.

And this is what I hope to share through The Michael Badeon Journal—not simply theories, but lessons drawn from real experiences, real people, real challenges, and the continuing journey of learning and becoming.
